Trypa is a powerful, but simple to use automation tool.
It allows you to trigger shortcuts based on constantly monitored triggers.
So, How do you make a trigger:
1 Launch Trypa and click the "Getting Started..." button in the menubar and click "Add Trigger..."
Triggers are edited in Trypa Settings.
2 Pick a Watcher Type - A watcher is a something that Trypa watches, you can search for things to watch using the search bar. Within each watcher are usually different options, so for example Time will allow you to watch for a specific time, or recurring weekly times, or even the sun going down.
3 The Watcher will expand to show you more options, enter the details required, so for a Time trigger you would need to enter the time.
4 Choose a state, most trigger allow you to watch for different states, so if you are watching a USB device, you can watch for it to be connected or disconnected.
5 Chose a Shortcut, this is what Trypa will do if the watcher is activated (e.g. someone plugs a USB thumb drive in)
Shortcuts can be simple, play a beep, speak a phrase, SMS you notification, shout something out of your HomePod or more complex, launching apps, files or complex workflows.
6 To start monitoring, press Save and close the preferences window.
